ART/E/FACT Presents: An Evening of Art and Anthropology

ART/E/FACT invites you to a film screening and talk upstairs at Stour Space

‘APPROACHING THE ESTATE: A CRITICAL ENQUIRY IN THREE PARTS’

If you’ve walked along the Regent’s Canal in the past few years, you’ve surely noticed the ‘i am here’ project – an estate building covered with faces of its tenants, an artwork conceived to improve the appearance of a building awaiting demolition. We’re really excited to welcome the artists from Fugitive Images behind this project, and most recently, behind the ‘Estate’ film. A team of artists, anthropologists and filmmakers have joint forces to tackle the subject of ‘regeneration, gentrification and architecture; its reasons, possibilities and consequences’. They will be showing us their work-in-progress and taking us through this fascinating process www.estatefilm.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you there
